Thanksgiving

We went to Savannah for Thanksgiving as is our tradition. This year, we had a baby in tow. She did really well, but unfortunately, Rick and I got colds before we left and weren't feeling too hot. We were so excited that my sister Jessica and her husband Adam were able to come again this year. We had a lot of fun with them. Jessica did a short shoot in a square on our way to dinner one night. Here's a couple pictures from it.

We have our favorite spots now to go to while we're in town. Most of them are food related. :) The picture below is one of us at a little cafe that we like. It has art and books displayed everywhere. It's very quaint and fun. They also have the best grilled cheese and tomato bisque. It's delicious!!!

We always go out of town and therefore out to eat for Thanksgiving (which I love because I don't have to cook!). This year, I really wanted to go to Paula Deen's restaurant, Lady and Sons, for Thanksgiving. Here's Fiona all cute in her little polka dot dress and tights ready to hit the town.

Here were are with Paula, at least her cardboard cutout at the restaurant. It was a mad house in there! We always stay in the historic district and walk everywhere. It's so beautiful and the weather is always nice. The strolls to our destinations are really pleasant.

The other day Rick just put Fiona in her hamper to see if she liked it. haha. She really did. She's so cute playing in her hamper in her Turkey pajamas.

We had a good Thanksgiving and now we are looking forward to Christmas. Rick plans and rehearses and spends a ton of time on the Christmas concert at church each year. It's held this first Friday and Saturday night of December. So, last night and tonight were the performances. He did a FABULOUS job. The music was phenomenal and I was very thankful that I was able to go this year. Our friend, Mary, was nice enough to sit with Fiona while I went to the concert last night. I was very proud of Rick. Here we are after the concert.
