We have had so much going on in the last couple of weeks. Rick's family came in town for Fiona's baptism which incidentally was on Father's Day. His dad, sister, and brother-in-law only got to stay two days but we were very privileged with their visit. Rick's mother was here too and was able to stay the whole week with us. We were appreciative that Rick's mom did all the night feedings while she was here. :)
Fiona's baptism went well. She was happy and quiet. It was such a special day for us. We dedicated our little girl to the Lord. She is a covenant child and I hope one day very soon she understands what that means and she makes Christ the Lord of her life. We pray for her a great deal that she will come to know Him at a very early age and never be far from Him. We want her to dedicate her life wholly to Him and know his love fully and abundantly. She is such a precious gift.
For Father's Day, we went to brunch after church to a pretty restaurant in Ft. Lauderdale. The food was yummy. We went back to our house where the men proceeded to watch golf. It was their day, they could do what they wished. :) I made a cake and we had a piece to celebrate the baptism, Father's Day, and our brother-in-laws birthday.
We were super blessed and excited to have family in town for such a special occasion. Here are a few pics from their trip...
