Fiona Joy is 2 months old today! It's amazing to think about. We have her two month well-baby checkup tomorrow. She's got to get 4 immunizations. Sad! Hopefully, she will not be too fussy. Now that she's two months, we can start going out in crowds and back to church. We are going to pray that she doesn't get sick any time soon. I miss church so much! It's been too long. Most couples switch off so one person can go to church every other Sunday, but since Rick works in the church, we are not able to do that. It's been a while since I have been able to go.
Look at that smile! Isn't she beautiful!?
Fiona is going to be baptized on Father's Day! We are super excited and it should be an extra special day for Rick since it's his first Father's Day and the dedication of our little girl to our Lord. I went this week to our local swanky mall and got Fiona's dress. There is this really cool clothing store called Zara there that carries beautiful adult and children's clothes.
We got a special present for Fiona in the mail the other day. It was from Rick's parents' friends from the church he grew up in. He was friends with their children growing up too. They sent her a cute outfit and a book. The book is called Aren't You Forgetting Something, Fiona? I was so excited when I saw the title. We appreciated this book so much because it was the same book that they read to their own children growing up and they gave it to us! It means a great deal that they would pass something so special on to us. What a sweet gesture! We can't wait to read it to Fiona. We know she will love to hear it since it's got her name in it! We love it!!!!
