Today is Memorial Day and Rick and I wanted to do something fun since he had the day off of work. We still aren't going out in crowded closed spaces yet with Fiona. The thought came to me the other day that we could go to one of our favorite restaurants in town for breakfast, complete with beautiful outdoor seating on the intercoastal waterway and then take a trip across the street to the beach. So, that's what we did.

We got up and got ready first thing this morning and headed to Giorgio's Bakery and Bistro for breakfast. Fiona had her red, white, and blue outfit on that Rick's aunt and uncle gave her. She looked so cute and patriotic today. Since we got there at a decent hour, the beach/restaurant parking wasn't full yet. Thank goodness! It's a nightmare sometimes trying to find a parking spot, especially on a holiday. Giorgio's has a beautiful view from its outdoor seating. It's right on the waterway and you can see all the boats go by. We had a nice breakfast with a cool breeze and Fiona behaved herself.

Then, we headed across the street to the beach. Fiona got changed into her cute bathing suit her grandmother gave her. We spread out and enjoyed the weather. It was hot but there was a nice breeze. The three of us just chilled for a while and then packed it up and went home.

She is so cute! We love her so much and had a wonderful time at the beach with her. She's the most precious baby and we are having a blast being her parents.
