We're in the home stretch now. 4 more weeks to full term status and 7 until my due date. Sometimes it feels like my body can't stretch any more but I know it will. I have one and a half weeks left of work and I can't believe it. It will be a very sad day on the 28th. But, in the end I am glad that God has so blessed us that I am able to stay home full time with our little girl. As I am getting closer to delivery I am also relieved that I decided to stop working a month early. I am EXHAUSTED! All of a sudden my body and energy level has slowed significantly coupled with the typical (and irritating) 3rd trimester symptoms. Plus, that month will give me time to get things done and organized before she comes.
Our friend and Rick's co-worker at church, Mary, called us a couple of weeks ago and said "I'm cleaning out my garage and I have a children's bookshelf. Do you want it?" And of course, we'll take what we can get, so we went and picked it up. It was red, so I took the leftover paint from the tree I painted and now the bookshelf fits right in. I put her dolls and books from my Birmingham baby shower on the new shelves. This bookshelf is so tiny and cute. I love that I looks like a house too! :)
I was in Target the other day and randomly saw these and had to get them. Since Fiona is due close to Easter, I thought it would be cute to put some bunny ears on her and take some pictures. She's going to be sooo cute!
