Happy Halloween! We went over to our friends' home on Friday night with another couple to carve pumpkins! We hung out and carved our pumpkins together. Here's how ours turned out.
Unfortunately, in south Florida, Trick-or-Treating is kind of sketchy and most people don't do it unless you live in a super wealthy neighborhood, so our church has an annual Fall Festival. It usually falls on Halloween night but since it fell on a Sunday this year, we had it the night before. A lot of the kids from church come, but it's also open to anyone in the community. Most of the people that attend are those from the area whom we've never met before that want to give their kids a fun, safe Halloween. There are tons of games, pony rides, a rock wall, bounce houses, and a dunk tank. Rick did the dunk tank last year and this year we did the putt putt golf game together. The little kids were especially funny. They had such a hard time trying to putt the ball into the hole. No matter how they did, they still got a piece of candy though.
I hope you all had a wonderful Halloween as well! BOO!
